From the Blue Ridge Mountains

While in Asheville a friend showed me this slide that was destroyed in a hurricane and belonged to her grandfather, I thought it was really beautiful. I got to scan the slide at Penland School of Crafts where I also did this portrait for resident artist Amy Tavern. I will only be on the road for a few more days then comes life again.

3000 miles later

I am in Tennessee and staying at two artists house who let me use their digital camera to photograph some of my gear. I cannot wait to start posting some of my film work from this trip. I have about 800 more miles and a lot of processing before I can start posting the real work.
